Fate was stymied by the snake’s refusal to move or be herded. She tried everything, then barked and growled and danced arund in circles. The snake was unimpressed. Fate is nothing if not determined, I think she would have stayed there all day, but the snake slithered towards the side of the road and then I picked it up and put it in the grass. It vanished.
