Fate is the sixth border collie I’ve had the pleasure of living with, I have learned that this is my breed. For the most part, they have lived good border collie lives – sheep out the back door, woods and trails to run on, many walks a day, therapy work and much activity. Border collies almost always want to come along – to sheep, to the hardware store, to ride into town, to the dentist, on a walk. I love that quality about them, and there is almost always a border collie and camera with me wherever I go.
I’ve learned that border collies and I are similar, we are restless and hyper-active creatures and multi-taskers, we sort of get one another.
This morning, Maria and I were out in the pasture and Fate was in the dog yard. I looked around and she was hoping to come along.
