Yesterday, we took a walk in a Florida swamp, today we set out our first walk back home. It is beautiful here too, just cold. The air felt good, we were happy to be back with the animals, we are re-starting our lives. We went for our first walk without Lenore, and we felt her absence. Red did not seem to notice or care.
I am getting back to work on my “Talking To Animals” book, Maria is back in her studio, working her magic. The farm feels beautiful, peaceful, very much our home. I’ll go to cardiac rehab this afternoon to make sure my restored heart is finely tuned and running and Red will do his therapy work. I have food shopping to do, chores to catch up on. Rehearsals for my short play at Hubbard Hall begin on Sunday.
