Indian women have their hands painted with a dye called Henna when they get married, a Henna artist was painting hands yesterday. The design – Maria chose “protection” – will last for about a week and like the dancing, I think it marked a turn for us, we are beginning to loosen up. Maria attracted a good sized crowd.
