Something new: We are giving away hundreds of signed Bedlam Farm notecards to people who buy my new book at Battenkill Books, my local independent bookstore, as long as supplies last, we are committing several hundred to the book tour. The notecards show  donkeys, sheep and this one above of Simon giving a ride to our gray hen.

I have an appointment with my signing table Monday,  I’ll sign and personalize them and the books will all be shipped out right away. As some of you know, this is my last book with Random House after 26  books, I am moving to Simon & Schuster. As a result the book got orphaned – no book tour or marketing campaign of any kind. So I’m doing it myself, we are in a 3rd printing and Connie Brooks has sold more than 1,000 books. I’m handling my own Orphan book tour, Simon’s story needs to be told.
