The huge Northeaster continued to swirl around us, snow, ice, sleet and freezing rain. Two awful days of gloom and wind and cold and wet. Donkeys are desert and mountain animals, they don’t a hoot about the weather unless it interferes with their food. Simon, affable as ever, came over to say hello. Went to Battenkill to sign more books, there are still some tote bags – red ones that say “Peace. Love. Books” left to give away to people buying “Saving Simon from Battenkill Books, , but they are going fast.
