It’s been more than a year since Minnie had her leg amputated, she is doing well. She has several secret places where she likes to hide out and meditate. One is underneath Maria’s studio – there is a hole in the foundation. Another is atop the hay bales in the big barn. A third is on the seat of Florence Walrath’s old lawn mower. Minnie is a verbal creature, and every time I come into the barn, I get a lecture or complaint.
