I bought the urn the week after I got out of the hospital, I called it the Gratitude Urn. Specifically I was grateful to be alive and grateful to Maria for caring for me so faithfully and lovingly. We put the urn in the Dahlia garden and Maria put some flowers in it, and I am touched at how beautiful the urn and it’s flowers are, how beautifully it has grown up along with the garden. It just looks as if was planted there and grew in nature. Maybe it did. I remain grateful to be alive and doing my work and living in love and meaning, more so than ever. And I am grateful for the presence of this urn, which speaks to me of the call to life.
