Barn cats are democratic, even egalitarian. They spend more time with chickens than with humans, and Flo is very much at ease with them – we sometimes think Minnie thinks she is a chicken. It is always surprising to me how comfortable the chickens and dogs and cats are with one another (Frieda excepting). Flo was asleep on the porch first, the white hen came over to rest with her.
