We think this is the hand of St. Teresa, the  saint of gardens, among other things, but we are not really sure. If so, it is a fitting spot for her, right at the edge of our new Dahlia garden, looking out to the farm fields to our South. Her hand speaks to me of fortitude and faith, she is old and wise.
