Yesterday, for the first time since her leg was amputated last fall, Minnie made it up onto the green rocker by herself. We usually have to put a stool down for her to climb up on anything but she has figured out how to do it. Minnie is spending a lot more time outdoors in the warmer weather, she has spots in the back of the farmhouse, the woodshed, the big barn. It’s a neat milestone, she is putting her life back together bit by bit, it took longer than I would have expected, but then, I am notoriously impatient.
