With the departure of Ted the ram, Zelda has returned to her role as vigilant pack leader and defender of the flock. If the donkeys get too close to the lambs, she gets right in front of them and stop them cold – they do not mess with Zelda. When I come out of the house in the morning to do the chores, Zelda is right there, seeing what I am up to.
