Ted left the farm today, he was a good ram, gentle most of the time, fierce in protection of his girls and their lambs. He was easy to have around (until he started going after Simon and Lulu and Fanny), he did his job well. We planned for Kim to return to Vermont, but she doesn’t have a health certificate, so she is staying awhile. We will look for a good home for her. We have nine sheep now, four more than we had a few weeks ago, but then, Maria will have some good wool to sell, I’ll have some photos to take and Red is already whipping the gang into shape.
Life is not static around here, or on any farm. Change is the only constant. So long Ted, you did good.
