I had trouble sleeping last night – an old panic thing, I think – and I was up reading about plants and how they eat light, it is food and fuel for them. I think this is also true of me, I eat light these days, it is nourishment for my soul. When I finally got out of the dark and got up, I went to the Windowsill Gallery, my altar and I saw some wildflowers Maria picked yesterday (and Simon tried to eat). I saw their reflections in the window and waited for the sun to break out of the dark and gloomy clouds. It did, for a bit, and I was ready for it, I saw my food, my fuel.
