Maria and Red and I are heading out of the farm shortly for Hartford, Connecticut, I am scheduled to give a talk at the Connecticut Library Association. Talking to libraries is something I think writers are morally obliged to do, I do not accept any fees for library talks, they can pay for the hotel. They very wanted Red to come along, so he is. I’ll be back tomorrow, I have lots more to write about the New York Carriage Horses.
It is fun giving talks with Red, nobody is paying all that much attention to the speech, they are too busy cuddling the dog. It looks like our septic tank is full and near overflow, we will have to deal with that when we get back. Life happens, every day.
