Simon and Maria met yesterday at Lulu’s crossing, our animals are starting to graze in the back pasture every day. We are giving them hay twice a day, but as soon as the grass comes up in the side pastures, we can let that chore go for the summer. Simon needs attention every day, he soaks it up, he has become an exceptionally loving animal. This afternoon, we go to Vermont to pick up the wool from Maria’s sheep, she will be selling the yarn. It’s a nice ride, we love doing it together.
Still no lambs. Sunday and Monday I’ll be inĀ Hartford, Conn., speaking about the future of books at the Connecticut Library Association. Tomorrow I might to see Captain America while Maria is visiting her mother.
