Maria was so excited to get to her studio this morning, a few hours later I went to check on her and I could see why, she was just about done with a new hanging piece that came out of a dream she had in the middle of the night. When she has an idea for a piece, there is a gleam in her eye that is special. She and I do a Charlie Brown/Lucy thing, I always ask her if I can take a photo and she always says it isn’t done, would I wait to put it up on the blog until it is done. I always say yes, sure, I promise.

Then I go and put it right up, I am sort of a “now” guy with my blog. The next time we go through the same thing again. She always asks me to wait until it is done, I always can’t. This is one of my favorite Maria pieces, I love the words very much. I offered to buy it, she said no way.

It says “I dreamed of White Dog In The Sun. She said Spring will come. The world will move on. All you can do is be kind and true.” I love to see the creative spark shine so brightly inside of her.
