Our animals have been more or less trapped in the Pole Barn for a couple of months between the ice, cold and snow. They’re okay, animals don’t resent things the way people do, but we try and brighten their day a bit. We put some chunks of bread in for the donkeys to gnaw on and we try and bring some treats out every once in awhile to break up the day. Maria had some horse biscuits in her bag, the Arctic Spring continues, another week or so to go. Simon is a great master of treats, he is always the first in line.
