We did, we finished George’s $10,000 Kickstarter Project “The Way We Were,” and submitted it for approval. I expect it will be accepted and be up online next week. I also learned that Maria’s Kickstarter Project, “Reclaiming Vintage Hankies,” has been accepted by Kickstarter and will go up on the site tomorrow morning. Maria is seeking $4,000 in pledges for a new sewing machine and some funds to reclaim and “re-purpose” the vintage hankies she has been using for scarves and other things.
It took George and I four days and his home-made computer equipment definitely made the project exciting. Off to the photo reception this evening, an exciting day around here. We got the firewood into the shed with the help of our friend Jack Macmillan – Maria hauled wood forĀ hours – and have shoveled paths to the pasture and around the house. Snow and ice tonight, the excitement does not end.
