Sunday, I watched Donna Wynbrandt sit in the Round House Cafe and sketch in the artist’s corner there. I told her I wanted to buy her sketch “Olympic Judges,” but she said she wanted me to have it, she wouldn’t take any money for it. We agreed on a dinner or some other barter for the sketch, I’m happy to have it, Donna has been watching the olympics from Sochi, but her sense of judges is more iconic, these seem pretty eternal.
