The barn cats rush to come inside,

the storm dog rushes to get out,

the sheep huddle in the barn,

the storm dog needs to be outside,

the donkeys cluster in their stalls,

the storm dog lies in a blanket of snow,

his belly to the ice,

his paws in the snow,

the storm is not a crisis

for the storm dog,

another way to work,

to be needed,

the storm dog is not awaiting rescue,

he waits for work.
