Sometimes it takes cold weather to help me to see where the true art lives, who the true artists are, we humans are bumbling amateurs when it comes to creating the light and images of the world, my windows were full of arctic art, there is a clarity to the light when it is ten degrees below zero, my heart goes out to the animals, who do not seem to mind it as much as I do. As the sun came up over the house, and it took it’s sweet time, it put a light on the curiously graceful ice work on the windows, if we ever have storm windows we may not get to see this. There is beauty everywhere, if you look for it, more outside than in.
