Maria’s jaw started aching in New York City and got progressively worse over the weekend, she was in a lot of pain yesterday and I drove her to the Granville Dentist at 7 a.m. this morning, she has an abscessed tooth and is on pain-killers and antibiotics. One by one, the dogs have come by to visit her – Lenore brought her teddy bear and Frieda has been hovering. I’m trying to keep her still for at least a few hours, she is as stoic as a border collie, she wants to get to work. I can probably hold her off until lunchtime. Might need more work on the tooth. I don’t know how she moved around as much as she did in New York, she probably didn’t tell me how much pain she was in.
