In Central Park, a man pauses at the exit from the park to wipe off his dog, damp from the mist and light rain. It occurred to me that the dogs in Central Park are going back to lobbies, elevators and apartments, they perhaps need to be wiped down, a civilized trait that has been largely forgotten in my life. We don’t have enough towels.
