Food Poisoning

Maria was stricken with a rough bout of food poisoning early this morning, I should have stopped her from doing the morning chores with me and Red, she was very ill earlier this morning, but she never succumbs. She didn’t quite fade until after her morning breakfast with some of her good friends. Got her to lie down and she just passed out. It’s me and Red for the chores for a couple of day, I’m giving her ginger ale, electrolytes and toast. I had some elaborate plans to saute some fresh oysters that came my way – I asked for recipe help on Facebook and got some great ideas – but I’m not sure Maria can handle oysters in any form today, I might cook a few for myself.

She could have gotten it in several different places, doesn’t really matter.

We were planning to head for the movies to see Anchorman 2 tonight, and then the Hobbit (Smaug) with George Forss and Donna Wynbrandt on Sunday. Looks like Netflix instead, at least for tonight, and I’m switching recipes and menus for the weekend. Food poisoning is wicked, I know from personal experience, and I see. I’ll make sure she rests, not a simple task.
