Our chickens have not ventured out of their coop since Saturday, the snow and the cold seem too much for their usually industrious spirits. We do not heat the roost, they are together in a small space in the eave and seem fine, we do ferry warm water and corn feed to them two or three times a day. When the grass appears, they’ll come out and hang out in the barn. They are peering out at us much of the day.
