Mickey’s World is bounded by Main Street, from the pharmacy where he sits outside in the afternoon watching the traffic to George Forss’s house and gallery, where he lives on the third floor. Mickey smokes if he has the cigarettes.
“What do you smoke?”
“I like Pall Malls, they are too expensive. They cost $11.”
“So what do you smoke instead?”
“I smoke USA Today. They are $8.”
“Can I give you $8 for photo sessions this week?”
“Sure.”
“Hey, how are the pictures?
“They’re great Mickey, would you like to see them?”
