I wonder this morning is something is going on with my book, if the new book tour isn’t working in the way I hoped. I’m not sure, but there are some encouraging signs. There are the most wonderful reviews on various online sites, including Amazon, and I am engaged in a wondrous dialogue with some of the reviewers, as is my custom. People are embracing Frieda’s story, and mine and Maria’s, but most importantly, they seem to be focused on the notion of second changes, and not only for dogs.
The book seems to be moving up on the bestsellers lists, and is perhaps catching on as an upbeat Christmas gift with several weeks to go for Christmas. This morning, “Second Chance Dog” was on the Kindle best-seller lists, pushing Cesar Millan and Danielle Steel’s poodle aside.
My idea from the beginning was for the blog and social media pages to push the book up and for word of mouth to take over. Maybe this is beginning to work.
