Kim is a different kind of ewe than I’ve seen before, she is a Karakul – an Asian breed – she is slight, small, gentle. She and the ram are scrambling for hay – it will take awhile before she settles into the Bedlam Farm routine, the animals learn there will be enough food and water, they don’t have to scramble for it, as they do on real farms. Kim is probably already bred, we are excited to see her lamb, Maria is eager to sell some as yarn. Ted the ram got butted by Zelda this morning, he tried to sniff her butt a bit too aggressively and nearly got knocked on his ass. Good luck to him.
I like Kim, there is something different about here, I am eager to photograph here.
