My town has an opera house and arts center, art galleries, a hip cafe, a country diner with lot of big sandwiches, a great independent bookstore and a food co-op. The co-op is where Maria and I do most of our shopping, it has an organic, hippie-ish feel to it that might in other circumstances make me nervous, the people in the co-op are very real, down to earth, lots of fun. It is a gift to buy local, eat good and healthy food, support the sense of community that is so powerful in my town. The co-op is another in my series of Main Street photos.
