Minnie comes out of the barn every morning to take in the morning sun, if it is out. Red and I had just been out doing morning chores and I went to help Maria dig out the Dahlia garden. Red went over to Minnie and the two of them sat down together to consider the world and get warm – all of our animals are sun worshipers in cold weather. I was surprised to see the intense border collie and our newly three-legged barn cat seek one another out. I think Minnie is getting more social, Red too, perhaps.
