Our Dahlia garden was a wonderful and beautiful success, it brightened up the whole back yard behind the farmhouse. Dahlia bulbs have to be dug up and stored in the winter or they will perish, so today we dug them up, fed the stems to the donkeys and put the bulbs in three baskets and brought them into the basement.
This is a new marker for us of the Days Of Grace, the name the farmers give the time before autumn and the onset of winter, the Dahlia bulbs are in our cold storage room in the basement, in the Spring we will expand the Dahliar garden, I loved ours.
