I love the composition of this scene, I always remind myself that composition is more important to me that settings or lenses or filters (I don’t own a filter). This scene was Hopperesque to me, the road, pasture and sky all seemed to point to the farmhouse if I tilted the camera and walked across the road. It had to be black and white for me, because the white farmhouse set off against the road and the woods was the point.
