Off to my health center to have blood drawn after contracting Lyme Disease. This will raise some issues, I suspect, and leave me with some decisions to make about my health care. My naturopath is in favor of some blood work to see where everything stands, he suspects and I do too that there will be a lot of suggestions about medications for various things. I will have to sort it through. My own feeling is to judge my health by how I feel, not by tests, and I see it as a doorway to a kind of health care I have avoided, especially in my 60’s. I feel good and strong apart from the Lyme, and I don’t want my life to be about tests and pills and fussing about numbers. Off to draw blood.
