Bedlam Farm shines in the Spring, although I most often think of the winters there, they seemed to beautiful to me. On the left, the Carriage Barn, built just after the farmhouse in 1861. On the same side of the street to the right, the Studio Barn, a former appliance shop with heat and water, where Maria came to work. The big barn on the right was the cow and hay barn, the biggest barn, a beautiful cathedral where Maria and I got married. And behind the farmhouse the Pig Barn that was, like all the others, restored. The Pole Barn is partially visible up behind it, this is where the sheep and donkeys found shelter and winter, this was Rose’s turf. Bedlam Farm will always have a place in my imagination and heart, I came to life there.
