Random House wanted a portrait of me, Frieda and Maria, and I passed. Then Connie Brooks of Battenkill Books asked for a portrait of the three of for the pre-order page of my next book “Second Change Dog: A Love Story.” I said no. Then Connie and her mother Marilyn suggested that George Forss, my friend and the famed photographer take the portrait, and how could I say not to that? So George has arrived in his UFO Investigations van and with his tripod and equipment and is setting up. More later. Oh yes, if you order the book from Connie, Maria and I will both sign it. Yoiks. I’ll get even with Connie for this somehow. George wants the donkeys and sheep in the photo if possible. (I’ll put up some running photos on Instagram when no one is looking. bedlamfarm is the tag. Hope Frieda doesn’t eat anyone.
