I dump on the alarmist weather geeks all the time, but they won this round. The storm petered out last night but returned with some force this afternoon, as they predicted it would. Nothing major, nothing to stock food over, but we will have six or seven inches when it is done. My favorite weather source is my friend and neighbor Jack McMillan, the former county transportation department boss. His family has lived around her for a million years, before the dinosaurs and he can feel a storm coming in his bones. He said it would snow today, but now a big deal. I got some nice photos out of it.
It didn’t keep Simon from peering out and looking for a cookie. Maria brought him one. Simon can be irresistible.
