Our farrier and friend Ken Norman is often eloquent and always to the point. Of the latest string of super and historic and unprecedented storms from the people who make money off of weather and anxiety, Ken wrote on his Facebook Page, “well, another piece of s—- storm from the f—— geeks at the Weather Channel….” Well said, although from this farm, it looked lovely still, the last sign off from the Winter Pasture. We awoke planning to burrow in and plant seedlings for our garden, but we will just go about our normal business instead. Got a couple of inches and it is melting already.

From my perspective, winter is over. I see the Weather Channel is doing stories on scary towns (this has what do with the weather?) in America, so their revenue stream will be all right. Make your own news.
