When I get up, I turn up the wood stove, let Red out the door, get dressed. When I come out, there is a crowd waiting for me, reminding of my centrality, of my work, my purpose. The donkeys bray, the sheep get nervous at the sight of Red, but Red is calmly waiting for me to start the day, to get to work, to get on with the business of creation and love and existence. Every morning I say, time to light up. I wish the same for you. Heading to the first Bedlam Farm to get a ladder. Maria knows how to put up a clothesline.
