Frieda knows how to stay warm, as any former Adirondacks dweller might. She loves the new wood stove insert in the fireplace and just zones out in front of it on cold and snowy days. It is fun to see her so mellow and comfortable. The new farm has been good for her. She is quiet most of the day, can do her good work chasing trucks from the dog pen. She is a terrific and successful worker. No big trucks have come near the farmhouse.
