Collapsed buildings and barns dot the rural landscape, they are beautiful and evocative in their own way, though it seems odd to me when I try and think about their stories. Did the people flee? Go under? Foreclose? Did the roofs collapse from too much snow, from wind and storms. There is usually nobody to ask. I write my own stories in my head.
