Red and I walked the hill near the farm today, a beautiful walk, a settling walk for me. Some changes you may notice on the blog. We’ve put up share buttons on the bottom of each blog post so you can share posts or photos if you wish, whether you subscribe, visit periodically or access the blog the photo sharing and social media sites. I’ve also put a contributions button and thank you at the bottom of each post which will make it easy for people to contribute whenever they wish and free me from having to mention it too often. I was listening to an NPR pledge drive today, and I empathized.
The content and photos on the site are free. Contributions are welcome to support the photography and the maintenance of the blog. You are free to use the photos as screen savers, cell phone backdrops or to print them out. I’m not comfortable being in the photo matting and printing game, or selling the pictures. I love the idea of the photos sailing out into the world. Your contributions will compensate me for my work on the blog and they will help keep it free and improving. The contributions are coming in from everywhere in the country and for all kinds of amounts, from $3 to $200. All contributions are welcome, and I thank you.
