Flo is quite regal, a cat of entitlement, as I gather many of them are, imperious, loving when they choose, intelligent and alert. Every morning, when I set out to do the chores, Flo the barn cat finds me. I look up and she is just there, moving under fences, through holes in barn walls, she comes and goes. We meet, cuddle and get on with our day. She does not want to hang out with me all day, and I don’t want to hang out with her all day. But I do love meeting her at our various spots.
