The State Line Diner sits on the boundary between Shushan, N.Y., and Arlington, Vt. I imagine it was a busy tourist and truck stop at one town. Norman Rockwell painted the diner once, I’m told and I think I’d like to be breakfast chef there for just a few weeks, see how I do with scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries.
