I visited Maria in her new studio this morning, brought her tea and good wishes, and she is very happy in there. Frieda under the desk, chickens out the front window, donkeys out the back, the baseboard heating working well. Her first potholder is aptly named for the both of us – “Slow Down.” I like it. I might buy it if someone else doesn’t. It will be offered for sale on her website later today. I think she was hoping to put it up first, but she got scooped.
