Yesterday, for the first time in many weeks, I went back to work in my great new office. I have three old wooden farm tables arrayed in a horseshoe for a desk. Already full of my stuff. Between moving and the book tour, I have not been able to work much. I began editing my next book, “Frieda And Me: A Love Story,” the story of Frieda and of Maria and I, how we all came together.

Looks like I will not be able to keep my Stewart Oak Wood Stove – too many problems hooking it up. I will bring one of the wood stoves from the farm over. Hope to get our chicken coop today and bring the chickens over. We think we will release the barn cats tomorrow. They seem ready. Mother is glowering at me, but once she gets a load of all the mice running around, she will be very happy to live here.
