A gifted artist from Woodstock, N.Y., named Ellie Steffens painted a portrait of Lenore and some of the other Bedlam Farm animals a few years ago and she gave me this beautiful portrait of the Love Dog. It is hanging in my office, over Lenore’s personal sofa. Okay, I have the softest spot for Lenore, she kept love alive for me, but in my new office, I can put the portrait and the sofa together. What better way to write?
