It has been pouring all day here and the sheep are holed up in their skidbarn, which seems to be working well as a shelter and windbreak. We might shear the sheep next week so Maria can get some clean wool to sell. We’ll see. Another madhouse day, one thing after another, packing, planning. Some friends are coming to help us move. In my other life, I would have called a mover. In the country every person I know has offered to help us move, and I am finally maturing enough to say yes and let a few friends help out. We move at 10 a.m. Saturday.
