Wednesday morning, and the new farm is a hive. Todd Mason is putting up wire in the sheep pasture. Our sheep all have footrot, so we need to cure them totally in the barn and then move them right into the new sheep pasture, even before we move in. The vet’s been by twice. We’re getting on top of it. Sheeprot is tough once it gets into the soil, she sheep just keep reinfecting themselves. I appreciate Todd very much. He is helpful – he is taking down some limbs blowing against the bar and has lots of ideas. I’ve yet to meet a Vermonter who is not a good and honest worker.
Ben is here finishing up the Pole Barn, hope to resume clearing of the old barn.
