Through The Looking Glass

Through The Looking Glass

The oldest pane of glass in the New Bedlam FarmĀ  sits on the North Side of the house, off of the dining room. Very old glass is very recognizable and I love the impressionist feeling it gives, the mixing of colors, the blurring of shapes. You can see the house down the road, but the glass interprets it differently. I love this house, and the old glass. There is old glass in my farmhouse also but I’ve never quite been able to photograph it like this.

I am working hard editing my 2013 book “Frieda And Me: Second Chances.” I love working on my books, I am never at ease when I am not working on a book. And it’s keeping my mind off of all the things we have to do to move, and all that it will cost. Writing is a part of my being and soul, my neural system. I have wanted to be a writer since I was five, and I am so lucky I got to do what I dreamed of doing.
